Ahh, that's right! Leave a message, and I'll get back to you. Right? That's how it goes? Aha, no telemarketers, please!
If you run up my bill, I'll have to ask you to pay the extra costs.

ACTION
a shape in the distance that could be a bird, could be anything, speeds closer and closer into view, and--
carol puts on the brakes when she reaches his front lawn, suspended a couple of feet above it. her hair is a bird's nest from the wind, and she's flushed, grinning, exhilarated.
she laughs, as she touches down. she just laughs.]
See!
Re: ACTION
it certainly takes his. ]
Ah, hello Carol-san. You're flying.
Re: ACTION
You're flying.
[ something catches alight in his chest.
he's looking a little choked up ]
Re: ACTION
carol feels light, so light, like a strong wind could buffet her away back into the sky at any second. maybe she could even float away without it.
and float she does, breaking away from the ground again to hang there a second before landing, right in front of him now.]
I'm flying!
[another laugh escapes her, so full of absolute delight that it surprises her into clapping both hands over her mouth, achingly wide smile still visible behind them.]
I can fly!
