"Hello? Hello?? I'm sorry, there's nobody home right now. [ obnoxious peal of laughter: go ]
Ahh, that's right! Leave a message, and I'll get back to you. Right? That's how it goes? Aha, no telemarketers, please!
If you run up my bill, I'll have to ask you to pay the extra costs.

Re: T E X T
but its familiar
and i know how it works
Re: T E X T
i like it at night better
its not so hot and bright
and the moon is really cool
it looks like it does in the movies
Re: T E X T
he can't even say why the sympathy's hitting him as hard as it is.
maybe he's just been in space too long. ]
do you like the stars
did you know when you look up at our sky that it's only the tiniest fraction of what's out there to see?
have you ever wanted to go up there?
Re: T E X T
telephone lines to the stars
but it didnt work out
space is kidstuff now
only a special says they wanna be a astronaut
i dont play pretend
Re: T E X T
that's new
would you believe me if i said i've been
Re: T E X T
i guess
unless your being a asshole
who lies to fucking kids
like fucking trash
Re: T E X T
i was IN space before i came here
that fleet i mentioned isn't oceanic
they're ships build solely for traversing dead space every last one of them
i wouldn't lie about the stars
Re: T E X T
[he worries he's crazy, most days. he worries that everyone else is cray, too, when they say shit like "I'm a superhero back home" or "I used to be a wood elf"]
[but this seems different -- he still shies from asking about it for the most part, responding instead]
whats a black hole
its a dying star right
or is it like a space tunnel
i never got that
Re: T E X T
it's a super dense mass wherein the gravity of it is so great that not even light can escape
that's why they call it a black hole
dying stars can cause them, yes
that space tunnel though
they call that a wormhole
it's not so much of a tunnel as it is a connection between two different points in spacetime
Re: T E X T
"diff points in spacetime"
ur probably just a trekkie aint u
Re: T E X T
did you know there's no light in space? no sunlight reaches that far
we keep our own sustainable food source in rations or these tiny little plots of soil with uv lamps
what's a trekkie?
Re: T E X T
we got those too
both kinds i mean
a fucking loser w/ 2 much time on their hands
who aint seen star wars obviously
or theyd have better fucking opinions
Re: T E X T
yes, those! sometimes they're the only greenery and earth we'll see for months or years at a time
r u solo or kenobi?
Re: T E X T
if its true
darth vadar
Re: T E X T
